The AVR-S950H supports eARC and 4K video upscaling, plus eight HDMI inputs and two outputs with full HDCP 2.3 support on all ports guarantee compatibility with the latest HD and Ultra HD TVs, Blu-ray players, and game consoles. The front-panel USB offers convenient audio playback of MP3 and hi-res audio formats (WAV, FLAC, ALAC, and DSD 2.8/5.6MHz files). Wirelessly stream popular music services like Spotify®, Pandora®, Tidal, and more via Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay 2, and Wi-Fi with HEOS built-in. HIGH-PERFORMANCE DISCRETE 7-CHANNEL AMPLIFIER
Featuring discrete high-current power amplifiers on all channels, the AVR-S950H delivers maximum performance and 185 watts of power per channel (6 Ohm, 1kHz, 1ch driven, 10% THD). With low impedance driver capability, it offers operational stability with a wide range of speakers for balanced, quality sound. Plus, auto Eco Mode adjusts power output to speakers based on volume level and on-screen eco meter, providing power consumption reduction in real-time.

Set up Dolby Atmos with a 5.1.2 surround sound speaker system using Dolby Atmos elevation speakers or dedicated overhead speakers, for the ultimate home theater experience. Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization provides immersive audio without height channels, creating virtual height effects in a 5.2, 7.2, or 2.2 speaker arrangement.
THE LATEST HDMI SPECS WITH EARC
HDCP 2.3 processing is available on all HDMI ports, and with two HDMI outputs, connecting a TV and projector in parallel is possible. Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) support enables transmission of 3D audio directly from the TV to the AV receiver through the connected HDMI cable.

The included AVR-S950H Quick Start Guide provides simple, clear instructions for how to get started. Once you connect your TV to the AVR-S950H via HDMI, the exclusive Denon Setup Assistant appears on your TV screen to walk you through setup, step by step. The AVR-S950H automatically renames input source per HDMI info, and quickly select offers one-push buttons for all zones. Color-coded speaker connections are laid out horizontally, making organizing and connecting speaker wires simple.
